A fondue farewell to Davy Jones

I found this on a 1971 recipe card published by General Mills.

It’s a suitably sweet and colorful fondue, fitting for the late Davy Jones.

Psychedelic Dessert Fondue

In a dessert fondue pot, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 package (6 ounces) fruit-flavored gelatin.

Stir to dissolve.

Adjust heat when necessary to keep fondue warm.

Spear dippers (angel food or pound cake squares, marshmallows, pieces of fruit)

and swirl in fondue, then dip into whipped cream or chopped nuts.
